You can’t feel it with your fingers
With your ears, it can’t be heard
The loudest silence lingers
In the space between words
Forces of nature exist
To roll you off the beaten path
Try as you might to resist
And you may feel nature’s wrath
With any luck, you’ll fall down
Upon a bed of clover
But if you make a single sound
The moment will be over
